The Range
Ashen Large Tall Ceramic Vase for Architectural Foliage - White
£75
Price History
Description
Commanding attention with its elegant, elongated, and distinctly architectural silhouette, this vessel is crafted from high-fired ceramic with a distinctive, tactile matte ash-glaze that captures and softens ambient light. The impressive, statement height and refined narrow form are deliberately designed to showcase tall, architectural foliage like monstera stems, banana leaves, or elegant single-stem blooms such as orchids or lilies, creating dramatic vertical interest and drawing the eye upward in a room. Its subtly textured, granular surface catches light in nuanced ways throughout the day, adding remarkable visual depth and a compelling tactile quality that transforms even the simplest of floral arrangements into considered, artistic displays worthy of closer inspection. This piece functions with equal potency as a striking standalone sculptural object when empty, its pure, sculptural lines and serene colour contributing significantly to a calm, modern, and uncluttered ambiance in living rooms, minimalist hallways, or spacious home offices. A timeless investment in form and function, this vase is designed for those who appreciate the dramatic interplay between artisan-made objects and the inherent beauty of the natural world.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
