Description
A lovely - and super-practical - addition to any contemporary home, this retro-style bedframe based on our existing Ashbourne bedstead features a fantastic raised storage area with a solid base. The sleek padded frame is upholstered in a smart, yet restrained hopsack in dark grey, with pale wooden legs providing effective contrast. A comfortable buttoned headboard provides a stylish boutique nish. Ashbourne makes a great partner for a chic, understated bedroom and is a good match for modern colour schemes.
Our Stylist Says
I love this bed for its practicality and clean-lined design, making it a versatile addition to a range of interiors. The natural finish helps it work well in neutral, Scandi, or minimalist schemes, adding warmth without overwhelming the space. Its ottoman storage is a real plus - perfect for decluttering bedrooms while maintaining a tidy look. To style around it, consider layering textured bedding in soft neutrals or muted tones to enhance the natural vibe, and keep decor simple with understated accessories. It’s especially suitable for smaller bedrooms where maximising storage without sacrificing style is key.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
