The sleek padded frame is upholstered in a smart, yet restrained hopsack in dark grey, with pale wooden legs providing effective contrast. A comfortable buttoned headboard provides a stylish boutique nish. Ashbourne makes a great partner for a chic, understated bedroom and is a good match for modern colour schemes.

I’m a fan of this grey ottoman bed for its clever under-bed storage and clean-lined, upholstered frame - it feels right at home in Scandi, minimalist or transitional schemes. The gentle button-tufted headboard and oak-tone legs add just enough detail without overwhelming a neutral palette.
To style, keep bedding light and textured, then add one or two bold accent cushions to lift the look. A simple pair of matching bedside tables and a slim table lamp will balance the proportions, while a low-pile rug underfoot helps define the sleeping zone and adds warmth.
