I’m a big fan of this dark brown sideboard for its clean lines and subtle ribbed detailing - it adds texture without overwhelming a space. The warm timber finish slots neatly into both contemporary and mid-century schemes, and it pairs just as well with classic neutral walls as it does with deeper accent colours.
Styling-wise, keep the top surface simple: a low-profile lamp on one end, a small stack of books or a sculptural vase in the centre, and a potted plant or bowl tray at the other. Inside, use baskets or matching boxes to corral smaller items and maintain the streamlined look. Because it’s quite tall, balance it with a wall mirror or a piece of art hung just above to draw the eye upwards.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
