Description

Our artificial version of Japanese Aralia (also known as Fatsia Japonica and False Castor Oil Plant) brightens up any room. Its classic shape- vibrant green colouring and interesting leaf style make it an ideal artificial houseplant. It is an exotic tropical-looking plant which is native to Japan and Korea. The name Fatsia Japonica comes from the old Japanese word for eight ("fatsi" in old Japanese) referring to the eight lobes of the leaves. The width will vary depending on how you arrange the leaves. The stems are wired and can be rearranged to suit your requirements. It comes potted in a plain black plastic pot and is ready to display (any photos with ceramic planters are for illustration only) - just arrange the stems as you wish.

Our Stylist Says

I love the artificial Japanese Aralia plant for its lush, vibrant green leaves that instantly brighten up any space. It’s an excellent choice for adding a touch of nature in areas with limited natural light or where low-maintenance greenery is preferred. It works well in both modern and traditional interiors, especially when styled in minimalist vases or large statement planters. To create a more natural look, consider pairing it with textured containers or placing it alongside other faux plants to achieve a lush, layered effect. Practical styling tips include using it as a centrepiece in a coffee table arrangement or positioning it on a sideboard to bring fresh greenery without the upkeep of a real plant.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
