Codiaeum Variegatum (also known as Variegated Croton- Garden Croton and Joseph's Coat) is a plant native to Australia and Indonesia. With its beautiful variegated leaves it is easy to see why this is a popular houseplant. Real Codiaeum Variegatum plants are not only poisonous but are also extremely tricky to grow and maintain indoors making an artificial Codiaeum Variegatum plant the ideal alternative! The width will vary depending on how you arrange the leaves. Our artificial version is extremely realistic and totally safe (real Codiaeum is both poisonous and irritant!) The stems are wired and can be rearranged to suit your requirements. It comes potted in a plastic pot and is ready to display - just arrange the stems as you wish. Ceramic planters pictured are for illustration only and are not included. This plant comes in a plain black plastic pot.
I love this fake Codiaeum because it adds a vibrant splash of colour without any fuss. Its multicoloured leaves work well in both modern and eclectic interiors, bringing a tropical vibe that brightens up any space. It's perfect for areas with low natural light or where real plants might not thrive, like offices or bathrooms. When styling, place it as a statement piece on a sideboard or as part of a mixed arrangement on a coffee table. To keep the look fresh, group it with other artificial plants in varying heights, or combine with neutral accessories to let the colours stand out. Its size and colour make it versatile, and its maintenance-free nature ensures it will keep looking lively all year round.
