Also known as Strelitzia- this artificial Bird of Paradise plant is named after its unique flower formation which resembles a bird in flight. Its scientific name commemorates the British queen Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. It has a stunningly coloured array of flowers offset by deep green large leaves. The width will vary depending on how you arrange the leaves. 120 cm- Number of stems 2- Number of leaves 16- Number of flowers 2. The stems are wired and can be rearranged to suit your requirements. Unlike the mildly toxic real Strelitzia, this artificial plant is absolutely safe for children and pets! It comes potted in a plastic pot and is ready to display - just arrange the stems as you wish.
I really like this artificial bird of paradise; it's a great way to introduce tropical greenery without the maintenance. It works well in modern or eclectic interiors, adding a vibrant splash of colour and a lush feel. For styling, I’d suggest placing it in a large, minimalistic pot to ground it in a corner or next to seating areas. It’s ideal for brightening up South-facing windowsills or creating greenery contrast within neutral palettes. Practical tips include pairing it with other natural textures like wicker or wood, and since it's artificial, it’s perfect for spaces where real plants might struggle to thrive or for areas with limited natural light. Overall, it’s a versatile piece that lends a fresh, lively vibe to any room.
