Description

The traditional lines of our Artes range provides a warm-hearted silhouette that will sit timelessly in your home. The classic English roll arm styling which has been around since the 1800s and is an enduring look that still translates in modern family life. The armchair has low arms and is well upholstered throughout making it an enviably comfortable piece. The bottom frame echoes the curve of the arms and a fully sprung T-cushion seat makes for a luxurious but supportive place to settle. The fixed seat dispenses with the need for energetic plumping and each armchair comes with a matching feather filled scatter cushion. The Artes range includes two seater and three seater sofas, an armchair and an ottoman. Our Artes collection can be upholstered in a choice of 34 distinctive shades and six fabrics to suit your style. Read our Upholstery FAQs View our full Upholstery Terms and Conditions

Our Stylist Says

I’m really taken with this green velvet armchair for its rich yet versatile hue and gentle rolled arms - it feels both modern and comfortably worn-in. It works brilliantly in low-key Scandi schemes against pale walls or as a jewel-toned focal point in a moody, art-deco inspired living room. For a cosy corner, pair it with a slim, brass-framed side table and a chunky, neutral throw; add a plant or sculptural floor lamp to balance the depth of the velvet. Keep other textiles in natural fibres and soft beiges to let the chair’s colour pop without overwhelming the space.
