Price History
Description
The City Hall wall clock – designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1956 for Rødovre City Hall - is typical of its era, stringent and unsentimental design, almost institutional. Silent and beautiful in any home! It was Arne Jacobsen’s custom to design the totality – everything from the building to its fixtures and fittings, furniture etcetera – including this wall clock! Choose between different sizes.
Our Stylist Says
This clock’s sleek, minimal design makes it a versatile choice for a variety of interiors, from Scandi-inspired spaces to modern urban apartments. I love how the City Hall Blue colour offers a calm, understated pop of tone without overwhelming the surrounding decor. Its clean lines and simple dial work well in both contemporary and minimalist environments, while also adding a subtle nod to functional Scandinavian design. For styling tips, consider placing it against neutral or pastel backdrops to let the colour pop, or pair with natural materials like wood and linen for a balanced look. Its 21cm size is perfect for striking a balance between visibility and subtlety on feature walls or above sideboards.
