Description
The City Hall wall clock – designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1956 for Rødovre City Hall - is typical of its era, stringent and unsentimental design, almost institutional. Silent and beautiful in any home! It was Arne Jacobsen’s custom to design the totality – everything from the building to its fixtures and fittings, furniture etcetera – including this wall clock! Choose between different sizes.
Our Stylist Says
I love this clock for its minimalist yet functional design, making it a versatile piece that can elevate various interiors. Its clean lines and understated aesthetic work beautifully in modern, Scandinavian, or industrial spaces, especially when paired with neutral palettes or natural materials. Practical styling tips include placing it on a feature wall in a living room or office to create a sense of simplicity and order, or pairing it with similarly sleek accessories for a cohesive look. Its size makes it bold enough to serve as a statement piece without overwhelming the space, and the precise, uncluttered design ensures it remains timeless and easy to integrate into both residential and commercial interiors.
