I’m a fan of this three-tier bookcase for its clean lines and muted grey finish topped with a light oak shelf - it strikes the right balance between modern and relaxed. It works especially well in Scandi-inspired or contemporary country interiors, where natural wood tones and simple shapes dominate.
To style it, alternate books with decorative items: place a couple of paperbacks upright, then add a small plant or a woven basket on the next shelf. Leave a little breathing space around each object to avoid a cluttered look. You can pop it in a hallway for keys and mail, use it in a snug home office or simply display your favourite reads alongside ceramics and framed photos.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
