Rational and minimalist, the Ark chair is composed of a set of thick planks of solid ash: A robust, simple and clear construction. Ark is the very essence of a chair with a clean, humble design that emerges from its function. With its elegant simplicity, Ark is easily incorporated into any environment and will withstand the tests of time, without showing its age. Designed with sustainability in mind, this chair is made with FSC-certified wood. In order to reduce its carbon footprint, Ark is flat-packed and can easily be dismantled for recycling. Passionate about interior decoration, Trine Andersen (founder and designer of Denmark’s Ferm Living brand) creates products for modern lives with a Scandinavian touch, in a style fusing together design, quality and nature.
