Description
The Plush Velvet Divan Bed Set with Upholstered Headboard blends timeless design with lasting comfort. Its solid platform top divan base ensures strength, durability, and the perfect surface to enhance mattress performance. Upholstered in luxurious plush velvet, both base and headboard add elegance and a refined finish to any bedroom. The set includes a 32" tall headboard with vertical panel design and a 28cm deep Hybrid Midnight Orthopaedic Pocket Spring Mattress. The mattress features individually nested pocket springs for personalised support, reducing partner disturbance and improving comfort. A 7-zone orthopaedic system relieves pressure on shoulders, hips, and back, while layers of luxury foams contour the body and provide bounce-back resilience. The breathable mattress core helps regulate temperature, and the soft-touch cashmere fabric with hand tufting creates a supportive and durable sleep surface. Available in all UK sizes from Small Single to Super King, this set is proudly UK manufactured to the highest standard. Base height is 30.5cm, with gliders attached it is 34.5cm. This option bed comes with 2 easy access storage drawers. Headboard can be placed in either end of the base, so you can either have both drawers facing on the right side, or left side.
Our Stylist Says
I love this navy velvet divan bed for its sleek, contemporary look and understated elegance, making it versatile across a variety of interiors-from modern to more eclectic schemes. The plush velvet upholstery adds a touch of luxury without feeling overly formal, while the small single size makes it ideal for compact spaces like guest rooms or teenager’s bedrooms. The built-in drawers are a practical feature, offering valuable storage without cluttering the room, and the 32" headboard provides a clean vertical line that anchors the space. Styling it with simple crisp bedding and adding textured or patterned cushions can bring in layers of comfort and personality, while ambient lighting and artwork above the headboard can create a cosy yet stylish atmosphere. This piece works well in spaces with neutral decor where it can be a statement or in colour-themed rooms for a cohesive, polished look.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
