Our Stylist Says
I really like this plush velvet divan bed base with drawers and a small headboard for its versatile and contemporary look. The charcoal colour makes it easy to incorporate into various interiors, from modern minimalist to more glamorous schemes. The velvet finish adds a touch of luxury without being overly formal, and the drawers provide practical storage-ideal for maximising space in smaller bedrooms. It's especially suitable for small singles or compact spaces where functionality and style are equally important. To style around it, consider adding textured bedding in complementary neutrals or soft patterns to soften the overall look, and keep accessories minimal to let the velvet texture stand out. This bed base works well with a mix of modern and subtle vintage elements for an effortlessly chic bedroom.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
