Our Stylist Says
I love this black velvet divan with storage-it’s sleek, sophisticated, and highly practical. The plush velvet finish adds a touch of luxe to contemporary or modern interiors, making it a versatile piece that elevates the overall look. The added drawers are perfect for maximising space, especially in smaller bedrooms, while the high headboard provides a welcoming backdrop and a cosy feel. For styling, pair it with minimalist bedding and some textured cushions for a chic look, or soften the surroundings with neutral tones and layered textiles. It works well in modern apartments, luxe city flats, or even as a statement piece in a minimalist scheme-its clean lines and neutral colour making it easy to incorporate into various decor styles.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
