Description

Go for gold (or silver) with our metallic Arissa rug. Metallic palettes are the perfect option to inject some sophisticated style into homes while remaining super-soft underfoot. Made from 100% Polypropylene Arissa is both beautiful and durable making it the perfect addition to your home and ideal for high traffic areas. This is a hard wearing machine made rug. When opening, re-roll your rug pile out and leave in a warm room for 24 hours before putting in place, this will help to reduce wrinkles and curling from packing. A small amount of fibre loss is normal on a new rug. Do not pull any loose threads, please cut them carefully with scissors to remove. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as this may cause fading of the colour. Turn your rug regularly to ensure even wear and reduce pressure marks from furniture. Before using any cleaning products on your rug, test on an inconspicuous area first to ensure it does not affect the colour. Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean dry white cloth - do not rub as this may stain the fibres. Vacuum your rug regularly to remove everyday dirt, we recommend the use of a suction type vacuum cleaner as a rotating vacuum brush can cause damage to the pile surface. We recommend the use of an anti-slip mat beneath your rug to prevent it from slipping and sliding out of place. Latex is used on the back of this rug. Please do not leave babies or young children unsupervised on this rug.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of the Arissa rug in silver and black for a children’s space because its muted metallic effect masks scuffs and spills without feeling too grown-up. The low, dense pile makes it hard-wearing under a desk or playmat, while the abstract pattern adds just enough interest against pale walls or darker, on-trend navy or charcoal paint. For styling, anchor a reading corner or study area with the rug and layer a brighter beanbag or cushions in mustard or teal for a pop of fun. Pair with simple, pared-back furniture - think white-painted shelving and a slim-legged table - to keep the room feeling spacious. Add an anti-slip underlay and spot-clean with a mild detergent to maintain the finish.
