Our Stylist Says
I love this set for its modern industrial feel, combining the concrete-effect top with clean-lined black legs and the understated elegance of the grey linen chairs. It works particularly well in contemporary, minimalist, or urban interiors, but can also be styled to soften with warm accessories. Practical styling tips include adding colourful or textured placemats and table runners to bring personality, while the grey and black palette provides a chic backdrop for bold tableware or greenery. The sleek design makes it versatile for both casual dining and entertaining, and the chairs' linen fabric offers comfort without sacrificing style. Overall, it’s a versatile choice that balances practicality with on-trend aesthetics.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
