Description
Advanced 7000 Pocket Spring Support. The Arctic Wool 7000 Pocket Dual Sided Mattress combines carefully selected comfort materials with advanced spring technology to deliver responsive support and lasting comfort. At its centre sits a dual layer pocket spring system; a base layer of 1000 full height pocket springs supports the body and maintains healthy spinal alignment, while an additional layer of 6000 micro pocket springs enhances responsiveness and adapts more precisely to pressure points. Together these 7000 individually nested springs respond naturally to the body throughout the night. Dual Sided Design for Year Round Comfort. This mattress can be flipped to suit different seasons, with each side offering a distinct sleep surface. Regular turning also helps maintain even wear for long term comfort. Cooling Fabric Summer Side. One side is finished with a specialist cooling fabric that encourages airflow and helps disperse warmth; ideal for warmer nights or sleepers who prefer a cooler surface. Wool Damask Winter Side. The reverse features a traditional damask cover with wool comfort layers. Wool fibres circulate air, manage moisture, and provide a naturally cosy feel during cooler seasons. Medium Firm Comfort Feel. Designed with a medium firm comfort rating, the layered pocket spring system works alongside the wool comfort layers to create a balanced, adaptive feel suited to a wide range of sleepers. Reduced Motion Transfer. Each pocket spring works independently within its own fabric pocket, meaning movement on one side is less likely to disturb the other sleeper during the night. Handcrafted Construction Carefully crafted using quality materials, the Arctic Wool 7000 combines traditional mattress craftsmanship with modern comfort technology; maintaining structure, durability, and consistent comfort over time.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
