Description
Known as Muller Van Severen, the Flemish design duo Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen work at the intersection of art and design. They are among the most prominent creators of the moment. From galleries to museums via collectors, design enthusiasts and design houses, everyone loves their minimalist, colourful creations, timeless and joyful. For Hay, they created Arcs: A collection of mirrors, candlesticks and vases made with metal, featuring expressive, scalloped silhouettes. This collection demonstrates their love of colour and materials. The creative duo is constantly on the lookout for new ways of presenting the natural beauty of their medium, endeavouring to give it a distinct presence. Modern and vibrant, the colour palette has been designed especially to accentuate the undulating shape of the Arcs mirrors. The steel frames are formed by a chain of arcs, creating a scalloped silhouette which is both elegant and playful. The Arcs mirrors can be used in bedrooms, corridors and other interior spaces.
