Description
Known as Muller Van Severen, the Flemish design duo Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen work at the intersection of art and design. They are among the most prominent creators of the moment. From galleries to museums via collectors, design enthusiasts and design houses, everyone loves their minimalist, colourful creations, timeless and joyful. For Hay, they designed Arcs, a collection of metal candlesticks and vases with a fun, expressive silhouette. This collection illustrates their love of colour and materials. The designer duo are constantly on the lookout for new ways to present the natural beauty of the material they use, striving to give it a distinct presence. Modern and vibrant, the colour palette has been specially chosen to accentuate the undulating shape of the Arcs candlesticks and vases. These pieces are formed by a chain of arcs that create a scalloped silhouette that’s both elegant and fun. The Arcs vase is made of stainless steel, while the candle holder is made of zinc alloy. Mix colours and patterns to create unique compositions.
