Description
Known as Muller Van Severen, the Flemish design duo Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen work at the intersection of art and design. They are among the most prominent creators of the moment. From galleries to museums via collectors, design enthusiasts and design houses, everyone loves their minimalist, colourful creations, timeless and joyful. For Hay, they created Arcs, a collection of steel lighting with a playful, expressive silhouette. These pieces are formed by a chain of arcs that create a scalloped silhouette that’s both elegant and cheerful. Modern and vibrant, the colour palette has been specially chosen to accentuate the undulating shape of the lights. The Arcs collection exemplifies Muller Van Severen's love for colour and materials. The design duo are constantly on the lookout for new ways to present the natural beauty of the material they use, striving to give it a distinct presence through a sought-after chromatic range. Made of steel, the Arcs lampshade is sold without an electrical system. You can use the Arcs lampshade as a table lamp or pendant by purchasing the appropriate electrical system separately (electrical system for table lamp and electrical system for pendant sold separately).
