Description
Archetoys is a new accessories collection from Magis, designed by Floris Hovers, which contains of metal model vehicles in different sizes. With basic, factory-made metal parts Hovers assembles what he calls Archetoys, archetypes of familiar motorised vehicules. The designer creates a three-dimensional impression of an ambulance, a fire truck or a double decker bus with only a few elements, but with enough imagination to make anyone smile with surprise. The Archetoys collection contains 17 different models, which are handcrafted and produced by remains from other Magis products. The thought behind the design indicates that, though typified as toys, these vehicles are meant to express far more than just children's toys.
