A late Morris & Co Print 'Arbutus' was designed by Kathleen Kersey a member of the Morris & Co. design studio on the eve of the first World War. Featuring two tonal leaves amongst berry-like patterns the Arbutus Wallpaper comes in a woad blue and russet red colourway. The combination of colours and shapes creates a homely feeling within the onlooker and you are reminded of classic and traditional patterns and shapes. Arbutus is perfect for a feature wall in a bedroom or office or perhaps used to paper an entire dining room or living room. The possibilities are varied and this wallpaper gives you the freedom to express yourself through your interior and match with your existing furniture to make it truly unique. This wallpaper is part of the Morris Archive III wallpapers collection. Application Method: paste the paper and then apply wallpaper. Pattern match:Straight. Vertical repeat: 45.7cm.
I love this piece for its fresh, botanical vibe-it’s perfect for adding a touch of nature-inspired calm to any space. The green terracotta colours are quite versatile, working well in both traditional and contemporary interiors, especially in rooms like sitting areas or bedrooms that benefit from a bit of tranquillity. To style around it, consider pairing with neutral or earthy-toned furniture, and let the pattern be the focal point by keeping accessories simple. If you're layering textures, a plain linen or wool rug in a complementary shade can ground the space without compete. This wallpaper would work really well in spaces that could do with a little character, but still need to retain a cosy, sophisticated feel.
