Description
Anne Qvist has refined the traditional desk light using smooth and curved lines to create the AQ01 Lamp with an elegant and simplistic aesthetic. Available as both a desk and wall light, the light itself is streamlined. The cable is hidden within the aluminium arms to ensure the sophisticated exterior is kept clear of excess visual elements. The polycarbonate diffuser emits a glare free light that is directed completely downward, to create the optimal working environment. Anne Qvist's design ethos rests on the belief that a design should always relate to the body, as is the AQ01's aluminium shade that is designed to entice touch with a dimmable switch located directly on the lamp's head. Practicality is also essential in Anne Qvist's designs, keeping the lights' functionality in any space at the forefront of the design. This is a concept reflected in her background studying at the Aarhus School of Architecture and work at Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects and Arkitema Architects. Integrated 7.7W LED bulb.
