The red Appliqueá Volet Pivotant Wall Light was designed in 1962 by Charlotte Perriand and remains in-line with today’s aesthetic. The pivoting aluminium shutter features a fold in the middle and creates different beams of light according to your needs. Combined with a dimmable switch, the light allows you to curate the perfect ambience. Charlotte Perriand is one of the most influential furniture designers of the early modern movement. Her design prowess was initially overlooked and Perriand was even refused a job at Le Corbusier’s studio. It was only when she exhibited her innovative ‘Bar in the Attic’ installation that she was able to convince Le Corbusier of her talent, resulting in an offer of a position at his studio. Features an integrated LED bulb.
