Description

When you glance down at this piece, you'd be forgiven for thinking it was wall art. Look again, and you realise it is actually a glass-topped coffee table, under which sits a layer of pinnidae oyster shells - hence the name, given to a character in John Steinbeck's novel,The Pearl. Bringing an opulent twist to classic coastal style, the Apolonia can't help but be a focal feature in a room.

Our Stylist Says

I love this coffee table for its versatile and understated design. The washed grey finish means it works particularly well in both modern and rustic interiors, adding a touch of relaxed sophistication without feeling too polished. Its neutral tone allows it to slot seamlessly into colour schemes that include earthy tones or cooler palettes. Practical styling tips include pairing it with textured accessories like woven trays or ceramics to bring depth, and using it as a statement piece by keeping the top relatively clear to showcase its natural materials. It’s a great foundation for both casual family rooms and more refined, contemporary spaces, making it a flexible choice for a variety of interiors.
