Description

Our bedding set comprising a duvet cover and a pillowcase is made from pure cotton. Covered in cute spots and trimmed with a contrasting edge, the set will help your child doze off in comfort and softness. Crafted from pure cotton for a breathable feel that won't irritate their skin, it has a 200 thread count to ensure the little one stays comfortable at all times. This set includes one duvet cover with a junior pillowcase. Please remember: Quilts, duvets and pillows are not suitable for children under 12 months due to the risk of overheating. The Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) is a not-for-profit organisation who exists to ‘make global cotton production better for the people who produce it, better for the environment it grows in, and better for the sector’s future. BCI works with partners around the world such as WWF, Solidaridad and Cotton Connect to train farmers to produce cotton more sustainably. By buying cotton products from John Lewis, you’re supporting the training of these farmers to use water efficiently, care for the health of the soil and natural habitats, reduce the use of the most harmful chemicals and apply principles of fair and decent work. With great prices and great design, our new brand offers style and quality for modern living today. Whatever you need, there’s joy to be found in.

Our Stylist Says

This safari spot duvet set is a charming choice for adding a playful yet understated touch to a child's room or a nursery. I love its versatile white background and subtle print, which makes it easy to pair with a variety of bed linens and colour schemes. It works particularly well in playful, nature-inspired interiors or a pared-back Scandinavian scheme, adding character without overwhelming the space. Practical styling tips include layering it with pastel or neutrally toned sheets for longevity and ease of switching up the look. Pairing it with simple, calm accessories allows the print to stand out, while a cotton or linen bedspread can add texture and depth to the overall aesthetic.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
