Description

We've added doors to this low shelving unit to create a practical set for your modern home. Made from foil-wrapped chipboard and supplied flat-packed for assembly, the doors have an oak-effect finish and the cabinet body is finished in gloss white. It works well as a TV stand as there's plenty of space for media consoles, but it's equally handy as an extra storage unit. This set includes: Mix It Low Wide Shelf Unit, White. H33 x W120 x D38cm Mix It Doors, set of 2, Oak. Each door: H33 x W60cm With great prices and great design, our new brand offers style and quality for modern living today. Whatever you need, there’s joy to be found in.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Anyday John Lewis & Partners low wide shelf unit because its clean lines and mix of white and oak make it versatile for various interiors. It works particularly well in modern, Scandinavian, or minimal schemes, adding warmth and texture without overpowering the space. Practical styling tips include using it as a media console, placing decorative objects like vases or books on top, and adding storage baskets inside to keep clutter discreet. Its wide profile makes it ideal for anchoring a living room or open-plan space, and the natural oak doors bring a subtle organic touch that complements both contemporary and mid-century styles.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
