Simple and chic, Jane was inspired to add this to our modern side table range after a recent stay at a gorgeous vineyard in the English countryside. As a small room, every piece of furniture had been carefully chosen to enhance the available space – including the two glass bedside side tables next to the bed. A clever design trick, the transparent nature of the glass allows your eye to look through the table and therefore helps make the room feel bigger. After falling in love with the gold side tables at the vineyard, her search for something similar led to the gorgeous Antique Brass & Glass Side Table. The small side table design has plenty of room on top for a beautiful table lamp, with a handy lower shelf that is perfect for your book. Although a dream side table for living room spaces or the bedroom, it also works well in a bathroom due to the easy-clean glass top. So, if you have the space, why not display the side table next to the bath as a place to rest a magazine and a glass of wine for those all-important moments of me-time? Back in 2007, on a not-so-sunny Lanzarote vacation, Lucy and Jane had a bright idea by the pool. Both loved old markets and changing up their homes, so they thought, "Why not create an online store for unique home items?"
With Jane's skills in PR and photos and Lucy knowing all about selling, they started Rockett St George. They purchased a 'Website for Dummies' book, pooled their savings, and voilà - Rockett St George was launched!
