Our Annecy armchair offers sophisticated refinement and an ageless look. A tailored back provides firm support while the base cushions have a foam and feather fill for a squishy inviting seat. P-shaped arms are neatly piped for a premium finish and turned wooden legs on castors provide an extra touch of elegance to this handsome armchair. A matching sofa is available as a two or three seater option and the Annecy range also includes an ottoman. I’m a fan of this rose-velvet armchair for its soft, durable upholstery and gently rounded profile, which makes it both comfortable and easy to dress up or down. It slots neatly into Scandi or modern-classic schemes, but equally brings a touch of warmth to pared-back minimalist spaces. For styling, position the chair beside a slimline side table and tall floor lamp to create a cosy reading corner. Layer a neutral sheepskin or boucle throw over one arm, then add a single contrasting cushion in deep teal or muted ochre. Finish the look with a simple plant or sculptural vase to keep the focus on the chair’s colour and form.
