Description

Our Annecy armchair offers sophisticated refinement and an ageless look. A tailored back provides firm support while the base cushions have a foam and feather fill for a squishy inviting seat. P-shaped arms are neatly piped for a premium finish and turned wooden legs on castors provide an extra touch of elegance to this handsome armchair. A matching sofa is available as a two or three seater option and the Annecy range also includes an ottoman. Pictured here in our blue and white stripe material, our Annecy collection can be upholstered in a choice of distinctive shades and fabrics to suit your style. Our Stylist Says

I’m a big fan of that mustard velvet armchair for its rich yet versatile tone and the soft, tactile feel of the fabric. It works beautifully in both contemporary and vintage-inspired schemes - try it against deep navy walls for drama or alongside fresh neutrals for a more relaxed look. For styling, anchor it with a slim-leg coffee table in brass or black metal, add a patterned cushion in teal or terracotta and toss a lightweight wool throw over the arm. Position it near a reading lamp or by a sunny window to make the most of the velvet’s natural depth and sheen, and balance the warmth of the mustard with a few cool-toned accessories or a leafy plant.

About Cox and Cox

Founded in 2001, Cox and Cox puts a focus on unique designs and high-quality craftsmanship to help bring a touch of elegance and individuality to every room.

Origins and Evolution

Cox & Cox has a rich history that intertwines with British interior design. The brand traces its roots to Fiona Cox, a renowned figure in the UK's design scene who made waves with her appearance on the BBC's hit show, Home Front.

Fast forward to today, and they're stationed in Frome, Somerset, having evolved from tiny decorative trinkets to an expansive range of stylish furniture and more.

Globe-Trotting for the Perfect Piece

The team at Cox & Cox have a knack for hunting down unique pieces. They travel around the globe, exploring markets, meeting artisans, and diving into the world of design.

Out of the hundreds of items they come across, they meticulously select those that align with their ethos high-quality, functional, and stylish. And, with their offerings split into six distinct trends, they've got a bit of inspiration for every kind of home lover.

Marching Towards Sustainability

Cox & Cox is not just about aesthetic appeal; they are deeply committed to becoming a responsible brand.

Recognizing the long journey towards true sustainability, they've put in place an advisory board dedicated to advancing the use of sustainable materials and promoting responsible practices, both domestically and abroad.
