Our Stylist Says
I really like this wall unit for its natural, timeless appeal; the stain wax finish adds warmth and highlights the grain of the wood, making it a versatile piece. It's a great fit for both traditional and modern interiors, especially in living rooms or home offices where you want to showcase books and decorative items. Practical styling tips include layering books and accessories to create visual interest, and using baskets or boxes in the lower storage for a tidy look. Its glass-fronted doors work well for displaying treasured items, while the closed cupboards keep clutter out of sight. Overall, it’s a functional and stylish addition that can adapt to various decorating schemes.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
