Our Stylist Says
I love this unit for its versatile mix of open shelving and concealed storage, making it ideal for both display and decluttering. The Havana lacquer finish adds a warm, sophisticated touch that works well in both contemporary and traditional interiors. It’s particularly effective in living rooms or home offices, where you can style it with books, decorative objects, or even plants to personalise the space. Practical styling tips include using baskets or boxes on the lower shelves to neatly organise smaller items, and balancing the open shelves with a few statement pieces on top for visual interest. Its neutral yet rich finish makes it easy to incorporate into various colour schemes, adding both functionality and style.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
