Belgian ceramic designer Anita Le Grelle had the idea of the Terre De Rêves collection in 2013, when she disassembled one of her former works of art – a sort of Tower of Babel, with piles of cylinders and spirals in ceramic, sand and wood. She then decides to recycle material to make moulds in the shape of small bowls. These then become plates, before shrinking once more into plates, and then they are reconverted into cups. This is how the Terre De Rêves collection was born. This eclectic ceramic service from Anita was also able to create a wonderful pendant from different items on top of one another. All of the collection can be characterised by very minute details, a host of imperfections and specificities which, each in turn, appear to unite to give body and shape in a fragile, yet delicate perfection.
I love the Anita n°4 Pendant for its playful use of colour and balanced proportions, making it a versatile piece for various interiors. Its multicoloured sandstone finish works particularly well in contemporary or eclectic settings, adding a touch of warmth and visual interest to kitchens, dining rooms, or living areas. When styling, consider grouping a few at different heights for a more dynamic look, or pairing it with minimalist furniture to let the pendant stand out as a statement piece. Its size of 22cm is ideal for task lighting or creating cosy spots, and the earthy tones allow it to complement both neutral and vibrant colour schemes effortlessly.
