Description
Made from solid oak, an oversized, curved headboard is characterised by intricate carved detailing. Inspired by the calming bedrooms of Soho House Rome, the Angus bed is fully upholstered in soft velvet in a variety of bespoke colour options. I’m a big fan of this olive linen super-king bed for its timeless colour and tactile fabric - it slips easily into both contemporary and Scandi-inspired bedrooms. The low, upholstered frame and beaded headboard add subtle detail without overwhelming the room.
For a pulled-together look, layer white or dove-grey cotton sheets and throw in a couple of burnt-orange or mustard cushions to play off the green. Keep bedside tables in light wood or matt black metal, and finish with a pair of minimal lamps and a large leafy plant to balance the structure of the bed.
