Description

The Type 75 Mini table lamp from Anglepoise showcases a contemporary refresh of the original and iconic design. Designed by Sir Kenneth Grange, it's precision engineered from cast iron and brushed aluminium, and simplified in scope, so you can enjoy a decorative spill of light from the top of the shade. With a greater range of movement thanks to the adjustable shade, there's a simple on/off switch on the base and its compact profile makes it a preferred style on smaller surfaces, especially your work desk. Supplied with an LED bulb This table lamp is supplied with a replaceable LED bulb. LEDs use around 85% less energy than incandescent bulbs. Extend your guarantee Anglepoise offer a lifetime guarantee for this product when registered within 90 days of purchase.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Anglepoise Type 75 Mini as a versatile and functional addition to both modern and traditional interiors. Its compact size makes it ideal for desks, bedside tables, or shelving, while its sleek, minimalist design adds a touch of understated sophistication. The adjustable arm allows for precise task lighting, making it practical without sacrificing style. It works particularly well in contemporary, Scandinavian-inspired spaces or eclectic interiors where clean lines and craftsmanship are appreciated. For styling tips, try pairing it with other muted-toned decor or placing it next to a statement book or plant for a balanced, functional vignette.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
