Description
Add sleek, contemporary design to the home with this Original 1227 floor lamp from Anglepoise. Designed by George Carwardine, it features chrome fittings and a coloured braided cable which gives a contemporary twist to its retro aesthetic. With a flexible shade, it can be rotated to direct just the right amount of light to wherever you need it.
Our Stylist Says
I love this anglepoise floor lamp for its sleek, timeless design and versatile functionality. Its clean linen white finish makes it a great addition to modern, Scandinavian, or minimalist interiors, offering a subtle yet sophisticated touch. It works particularly well in living rooms, home offices, or reading nooks where adjustable task lighting is key. For styling, consider pairing it with simple, natural materials like wood and neutral tones to keep the look fresh and uncluttered. Practical tips include positioning it near a sofa or desk to maximise light direction and adding a cosy, layered lighting scheme with table lamps or wall lights for a balanced and inviting space.
