Description
The Angelica is a spectacular brass chandelier with glass shades. Majestic when hanging from the ceiling, the modern chandelier features six fluted shades in clear glass suspended around a metal ring in a luxurious antique-brass finish with a ceiling rose to match. Strong link chains add extra support while adding a stylish flourish. Bringing wow-factor to any space – a hallway or landing, perhaps? – it’s a showstopper in every sense of the word. I’m a fan of this Angelica fitting because its simple brass ring and gently fluted glass globes bring in warmth without overwhelming a space. It works particularly well over a dining table or kitchen island in contemporary, mid-century or Scandi-inspired interiors, where its soft curves and metallic finish complement natural timber and neutral upholstery.
For styling, hang it around 70-80cm above your tabletop to keep sightlines clear, and use warm-white LED bulbs for an inviting glow. Pair with a wooden bench or textured ceramic vases to echo the glass detail, and limit competing metals elsewhere (for example on cabinet knobs or picture frames) so the chandelier remains the star of the scheme.
