Description

The Andover Swivel Recliner has been an established part of our range for a number of years and a consistent best seller. The chair is constructed from solid, hardwood with a pine coloured finish. The seat, back and arms are foam filled for comfort and covered with durable bonded leather with a faux leather match used on the low-stress areas. The reclining mechanism is a piston action and operated with body movement and there's an easy to use handle under the chair to fix the chair in any position. The chair also boasts integrated massage points in the seat, lower back and upper back with a heat function also present in the lumbar area.

Our Stylist Says

The Andover swivel recliner is a great choice if you’re looking for comfort with a modern edge. Its warm yellow hue adds a cheerful touch without overpowering the space, making it versatile enough to work in both contemporary and rustic interiors. It’s perfect for creating a cosy reading nook or a relaxing corner in a living room. To style it effectively, consider pairing with neutral or natural textures like linen or wool to keep the look soft and inviting. The recliner’s massage and heat features make it highly practical for everyday use, so it works well in a space designed for relaxation. For a balanced aesthetic, keep accessories minimal, perhaps adding a textured throw or cushion for extra comfort and visual interest.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
