Description

The large Anderson solid oak TV stand is a handsome design with rounded edges and clean, simple lines in wood that displays a beautiful wild grain. Designed in house, the sturdy open stand has 2 shelves and 2 storage compartments for equipment and accessories. Suitable for TVs up to 25kg, the stand is part of the Anderson range, which includes a matching bookcase and coffee table, and a dining table and bench with painted bases.

Our Stylist Says

This solid oak TV stand offers a clean, natural aesthetic that works beautifully in both contemporary and rustic interiors. I love its minimal design and generous open shelving, which allows for ample storage and display space without feeling cluttered. It pairs well with neutral tones and can be styled with woven baskets, books, or decorative objects to add warmth. For practical tips, consider placing a few small lamps or LED lights on the shelves to enhance the ambiance and keep the space functional. It’s versatile enough to suit living rooms with a Scandi vibe or more traditional settings, making it a reliable piece that combines practicality with timeless style.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
