I’m a fan of this ivory counter stool for its clean lines and boucle upholstery - the soft texture contrasts nicely with the slim black metal legs. It works particularly well in Scandi-inspired kitchens, modern minimal spaces or even pared-back industrial rooms where you want to introduce a cosy element without bulk.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
