I’d call this the Amelia bed, and what I like most is its clean-lined channel headboard in that soft silver-grey velvet - it instantly gives a room height without fuss. It suits modern, Scandi or minimalist schemes but can also work in a more glamorous setting when teamed with metallic accents. For styling, keep your bedding in crisp whites or muted pastels to let the velvet shine, then layer in a chunky knit throw at the foot. Choose bedside tables in light timber or mirrored finishes, add soft bedside lamps and a low-pile rug under the bed to anchor the space and add extra warmth.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
