Description

Cosy into the curved shape of the Ambrose armchair, with a low seat and made of mango wood and natural linen it’s a refined addition to complement classic architecture or pared back rustic style.

Our Stylist Says

I love this armchair for its timeless elegance and versatile appeal. Its neutral linen fabric makes it a perfect addition to a variety of interiors, from classic to modern coastal schemes. It works particularly well as a statement piece in a cosy corner or as part of a neutral colour palette, allowing other accents like cushions or throws to pop. For styling tips, consider pairing it with textured cushions or layered throws for added comfort. Practical placement ideas include next to a small side table for reading or by a window to take advantage of natural light. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for anyone looking to add a touch of sophistication without overwhelming their space.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
