Description
The Amber Glass Pendant Light boasts a sleek and modern design, perfect for minimalist interiors. Its amber coloured glass with brass details not only adds a touch of elegance but also casts a warm and inviting glow throughout the room. For a striking visual impact, consider hanging multiple pendants in a row over a dining table or kitchen island, creating a stylish focal point that enhances both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
Our Stylist Says
I’m a fan of this amber pendant for its simple globe shape and softly tinted glass, which throws a warm, inviting glow without fuss. It suits a range of schemes - from mid-century modern or Scandi-minimalist to an industrial loft - and pairs especially well with brass or matte black fittings. For practical styling, hang a single globe over a bedside table or run a trio in a straight line above a kitchen island, spacing each about 30cm apart and positioning roughly 60cm above the work surface. Swap in an LED filament bulb to enhance the amber tone and keep the look contemporary.

About Barker and Stonehouse
A Remarkable Journey
Born from the vision of two young RAF men, Charles Barker and Alex Stonehouse, Barker and Stonehouse emerged as a beacon of hope, infusing post-war Britain with a hint of glamour. Starting from a single store in Stockton on Tees, their entrepreneurial spirit led to rapid expansion, opening multiple stores across the region.
Their fast growth was fueled not only by their flair for business but also by their dedication to innovation. The business transformed over the years, adapting to the changing landscapes of retail, all while preserving its charm and values. By 2021, they marked an impressive 75 years in the industry, a testament to their enduring commitment to quality and customer service.
Sustainability at the Forefront
From the very start, Barker and Stonehouse has held a deep commitment to the environment. This devotion was showcased through initiatives such as the Trees4Trees Project, a reforestation effort in Indonesia.
Ensuring that for every tree used in their products, more than two were replanted, nearly 1.5 million trees have been restored under this initiative.
Their Knaresborough store, one of the greenest retail stores in the UK, further underscores their dedication to sustainable practices. As a cherry on top, by 2021, the company achieved the status of "Carbon Neutral Plus", making them a trailblazer in the furniture industry.
Innovative Spaces and Expanding Horizons
Over the decades, Barker and Stonehouse didn't just expand in number, but in the quality and innovation of their spaces. From opening their iconic store in Battersea, London, which beautifully preserved the characteristics of an old candle factory, to their latest state-of-the-art Gateshead store in 2023, every location tells a story.
They have also ventured into digital realms, ensuring a vast online presence and offering a wide range of products to customers all over the UK. Their partnerships, like the one with Fenwick in 2021, illustrate their adaptability and constant quest to reach new audiences.
