Launched by the Dutch “It’s about Romi” company, the GOOD&MOJO collection is a selection of eco-friendly light fixtures created only from durable and/or recycled materials. The Amazon pendant is made from a surprising and unusual material: recycled car tyres! As part of the upcycling trend, this light fitting brings new life and purpose to a low-value material destined for the bin to turn it into a designer, offbeat lamp. Similar to refined leather, the soft material has a slight roughness that gives it a raw appearance. Amazon’s singular aspect challenges our curiosity, soliciting the eye as much as the hand. The large white seams, intentionally highly visible, reinforce the artisanal, authentic aspect of the product. The stylish detail: the black and white fabric cable with its retro style. Amazon pendants are handmade in Vietnam, by families working together in their village, instead of having to go off separately to look for work in the big cities. A solid design, out of the ordinary, innovative and ecological that gives the product its strong personality! GOOD&MOJO is also a solidarity initiative, because 5% of the sale price of each light fixture purchased is donated to the Waka Waka Foundation. This foundation, based in the Netherlands, distributes solar lamps for people located in crisis areas, in close collaboration with humanitarian aid organisations.
