I’m a fan of this Amari stool in truffle mohair velvet because the warm, neutral tone and soft yet hard-wearing fabric suit a range of schemes - from Scandi minimalism to mid-century modern. The slim, dark-stained legs keep the look light and allow it to sit comfortably against both marble and timber countertops. For styling, position two or three at a breakfast bar and balance with simple ceramic tumblers or matte black pendant lights overhead. If you want extra comfort, add a narrow lumbar cushion in a contrasting texture (like boucle or linen).
