Price History
Description
The Amara wooden floor lamp base is completely obsession worthy. It's the kind of piece that stops people mid-conversation and makes them ask where you got it. The barley twist stem brings gorgeous texture and craft, while the on trend finish in either navy or raspberry pink keeps things feeling fresh and considered. Pair it with your shade of choice, style it your way, and let Amara do the rest. Your room will thank you for it.
Our Stylist Says
This blue twist floor lamp base is a versatile piece that adds a modern touch to a variety of interiors. I love how its deep navy hue complements both contemporary and minimalist schemes, while the twisted design brings in subtle texture without overpowering the space. It works especially well in living rooms or bedrooms with neutral palettes, providing a pop of colour and visual interest. For styling, consider pairing it with a simple fabric or linen shade to keep the look clean, or go bolder with a patterned or textured shade for added character. It’s a practical choice for day-to-night lighting and can help to anchor a cosy seating area or elevate a sleek, modern corner.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
