Designed precisely 80 years ago, the AMA500 Pendant Light by Aino Aalto for Artek once hung in the library of the Aaltos' architectural masterpiece, the Villa Mairea. The mid-sized pendant is shaped from steel with brass detailing, demanding placement as a centrepiece over dining tables and workspaces to cast a soft and warm light. Along with her husband Alvar, Aino Aalto is hailed as a pioneer of the contemporary Scandinavian aesthetic, offering her creative output to architecture and design while founding the distinguished furniture company Artek. Requires 1x max. 12W E27 bulb (not included).Care instructions: Use a soft cloth, dampened with water and soap, or mild cleanser if needed for resistant dirt; do not use alcohol or other solvents.
