A very strong visual impact for this incredibly graphic, aerial pendant. A real light sculpture, Alya (which means dynamism and lightness in Arabic) is the work of young designer Gabriele Rosa. It looks like a pencil line in space, a luminous sign suspended. It is made up of three thin branches, made of aluminum, each holding an LED strip in its upper part. This pendant provides both indirect (70%) and direct (30%) lighting. Incredibly light despite its imposing dimensions, Alya will dress all spaces with its singular, dreamlike presence.
I love how this pendant brings a sleek, contemporary vibe to a space thanks to its smooth, minimalist design. Its large Ø 100 cm size makes it a real focal point above dining tables, kitchen islands, or in high-ceiling living areas, adding both style and functional illumination. It works beautifully in modern, Scandinavian-inspired interiors or in minimalist schemes where the clean lines and subtle glow can shine without overwhelming the decor. For practical styling tips, pair it with simple, understated furniture to let the pendant be the star, and consider positioning it at different heights if your ceiling allows, to create visual interest. Its soft, diffused light is perfect for creating an inviting atmosphere in open-plan spaces.
