Price History

Description

The Finewoods range is a solid and exciting combination featuring beautiful real wood veneers with contemporary black glass, all underpinned by a rigid steel support frame. The Finewoods range is about more than just looks, however - toughened safety glass shelves sit on polymer isolation bushes to reduce resonance, and are adjustable in height to ensure you can perfectly display your AV equipment. The Finewoods stands come in a range of sizes and styles, all designed to complement today's modern equipment whilst maintaining its beautiful look and traditional style.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the Alphason traditional-looking TV stand for its sleek, minimalist profile and practical size, making it versatile for various living spaces. Its black finish is fuss-free and pairs well with both modern and classic interiors, especially when layered with other dark or neutral tones. When styling, consider keeping the surface clear for a clean look or adding a few carefully curated accessories such as a small plant, a stack of stylish books, or decorative objects to add personality. The open shelving is ideal for organising media devices and accessories, and it encourages a clutter-free aesthetic. This piece works well in contemporary spaces, urban apartments, or even a more traditional lounge with a modern twist.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
